Mina, Philippe & Jan

Just for the record I like to post photos of work painted by my ‘Raiders’. I left the most recent finished plates with Philippe at ECU the other day. He headed off to catch the bus, swinging his three new plates in a carrier bag, looking forward to studying his work once he got home. The layering of colours on his three is quite delicious.

Mina collected her two and Jan’s four from Philippe’s office another day and now tells me that the three of them are hoping to set another date for a raid once ECU’s semester is over and Philippe has finished setting up the Foundation show.

Meanwhile I still have two of theirs that didn’t make it into the latest, full, glaze firing so they’ll get to see those when they come out here next.

Here are Mina’s two, a practical square plate with lovely lime green, and an oval with soft layered colours.

I’m going to post Jan Wade’s plates in the next blog because I want to show the backs of her plates too, and that many images will get muddled with this WordPress system.
