Eight Plates and Holiday pics

After I’d removed my jugbirds and two bird plates, and the plates that had been bisqued again, there were only eight finished Raiders’ plates. Eric, Mina, Michelle, Tamara, Kate and Pierre, here are some of yours. Cindy, Philippe and Marlene, yours are in the second glaze firing now, along with more by the others.

Kate has two little triangular dishes to admire.

We can instantly recognize the bright yellow tartan oval dish as Michelle’s. Nice.

Eric has combined drawing with a ceramic pencil on a yellow-slip painted and bisqued plate with some underglaze painting too. The black, grey and red really pop.

Pierre, it’s good to see some colour. I hope you’ll like what you did.

Tamara, I think you’ll enjoy your first three little dishes. We’re all looking forward to seeing how the larger platter turns out.

And finally there is a large round platter painted mainly in black and white by Mina.

I’ll let you all know how the rest are on Monday or soon thereafter.

Meanwhile here’s a link to an album I assembled of my best photos from our little two-night getaway up the Sunshine Coast in early August.
