Another painting raid

  Yesterday I finished spraying the last of my stoneware pieces with slips for salt, loaded the bisque kiln and turned it on. Plates by two more artists

Here are photos of the plates painted by Eli Bornowsky and first-time visitor to my studio, Renée Van Halm. They both treated the underglazes very much as paint, freely mixing colours, rather than maintaining unicolour areas.                       Renée's are painted from collages she had assembled beforehand. 5 Artists here again

Eric Metcalfe (whose birthday it was today!) invited Sally (Alison) Clay, Renee Van Halm (her first visit out here), Eli Bornowsky and Paul Mathieu to join him for another 'painting raid'.
