I emptied my kiln this morning and only five of the pieces in there were mine! There have been two more raids of painters here lately as Eric Metcalfe has volunteered six new plates for auction at the Western Front.

The first group, on November 25th, were Eric, Jacqui Ross, Eli Bornowsky and, for his first visit, recently-retired Charles H. Scott Gallery curator Greg Bellerby. As usual Alan took photos as we worked and today has photographed the finished plates from both raids.

While these four worked on their plates I sorted out my pots from the previous firing, deciding which gallery would get what. Then I started on some more jug birds. I do enjoy having company in my studio while I work.

I find that it’s hard to keep the artist and his or her plates together when there are many photos so I’ll make a blog for each artist, starting with these four.
