Today’s ‘Raiders’ were able to take home their plates from the last ‘Raid’. I hadn’t made them wait for me to fill the kiln but fired it half full so that they could be ready for today. I’ll post some photos of these fine pieces before I add anything about today’s fun day with yet another ‘raid’.

Last time Eric Metcalfe painted two plates. One of them is only red and yellow but is rather striking. The other has the white clay background and the design in turquoise, red and black.

Mina Totino had completed four last time. I think she’s planning on accumulating a big pile of plates for tea-parties!

I’ll post pics of plates painted by two others in the next blog just so that they don’t get muddled up.
