A busy Sunday

What a busy Sunday! There’s a competition to see how much time people put in at the studio. Arriving there after 1pm I was greeted with ‘you’re late’! But I had done laundry, had a good breakfast, showered, written blogs, packed a lunch and walked an hour to start work!

Mainly I sprayed slips on 2 jugbirds and the teapot and pull-rings. Claude and I loaded a large bisque kiln with work from most residents. Several would like to find out about salt-firing but I guess I’m the keener. I can hardly wait to see results on Friday. We’ll start the firing on Wednesday.

I threw a couple of jugs with the delicious H570, mainly so that I can add some handles tomorrow and check its ability to be assembled.

6pm several of us found our way to Moxies for supper. All the Vietnamese restaurants were closed. Nice chance to chat outside pottery.
