Fantastic Feast take-down

Last week seemed to be filled with clay-related activities for me!

First thing on Monday several TriCity Potters met at Port Moody Arts Centre to take down “Fantastic Feast”. It’s so much quicker and easier than getting it set up! The show was well received by the visitors and the box for Peoples’ Choice was stuffed to overflowing.

So I asked the four members who were on hand helping with take-down to do a group counting. We now know the winner and we shall announce that at our May meeting and the artist will be presented with a lovely gift basket from Eden Fine Foods.

Port Moody AC staff member Kelly Doyle snapped some photos of us counting. Thank you to all the members who entered the show and helped with the set-up, printing, arranging, publicizing and finally, the take-down. Well done all of you.

This is a link to an article in the local NOW paper. Several of us were photographed but one never knows which photos will be used. Monica Viola was shown on the front page but without her name being added.

We’re floating ideas about another challenge. If you have a suggestion for a theme and/or a venue to display our work get in touch with a board member.
